ValueBetween Hard Rock and a hard place
Jan 9, 2009Pros: It is Hard Rock Cafe, it's not exactly what it says on the tin but it is exactly like the things you have heard. The decor is great and you can educate yourself whilst eating and earn all about you're favourite artists. If you like themed restaurants with American food this is perfect for you.
Cons: It is so expensive, it was £160+ for four people with one main each and a shared starter platter plus drinks. They add a service charge no matter how big the party, the service is not woth the charge. You can get a souvenier glass....no matter how much you spend.... for an extra price but you have to go and get it from the gift shop down the road. Overall I'm not really impressed you can find the same kind of thing elsewhere for much less. You're just paying for the name and it's not worth it. -

ValueSo, so
Jan 9, 2009Pros: If you like steak you'll love it. The food was nice, lots of meat - ribs, steak, chicken all with a variety of sauces including barbeque of course. Nice American style booth seats. Generally nice place. Staff were attentive and you get refillable fizzy drinks.
Cons: Had to wait ages for a table even though there were empty ones which did not get filled whilst we were waiting or before we were seated. Lights on tables are too low. Prices = £20-30 pp, but they do have a separate kids menu. -

ValueYummy yummy yummy I got love in my tummy!
Jan 9, 2009Pros: Beautiful. The decor is amazing, you go into an already really nice pub then you go upstairs into the restaurant and its amazing. the atmosphere is great. The staff are genuinely happy to be there and greet you in their native way. The food is delicious I had Pad Thai a rice noodle dish with an egg shell. You can have most dishes with your own choice of meat, fish or chicken. We had a really great time and they cater for vegetarians.
Cons: It is a bit expensive but if you have a starter as a main then you wont be left hungry or broke. -

ValueYou got nothing I want
Jan 9, 2009Pros: The chicken is delicious. Most restaurants have a really nice vibe.
Cons: I went here on a Wednesday night after a movie and I just wanted some chicken wings but they were all out apparently - the guy next to me in the takeaway waiting area managed to get 10 though! Then I asked for a breast piece and was given a leg which I didn't realise until I got all the way home. If I was a mystery shopper they would have failed terribly. Really bad service and moody cashier. -

ValuePeri-Peri good!
Jul 30, 2008Pros: My favourite Nandos ever, yeah they have the same menu as all of the rest but here you really feel like you’re getting that peri-peri experience. The atmosphere is great and all there chicken is Halal so everyone can eat here. They also have a cinema, bowling, lots of shops and bars close by which means this Nandos is your one stop shop. You can watch a film, eat, drink and dance the night away all within the same complex – there is also a gym next door if you have had too much eating and drinking.
Cons: Friday and Saturday nights are hectic, be prepared to wait.
