Quality care (Recommended)

Pros I had quite a culture shock flying with Aer Lingus after becoming used to the shabby treatment doled out by their compatriots Ryanair.

It took me back to a gentler era when flying was an adventure and a luxury, and passengers were treated as welcome guests.
Well not quite - there was still no smoking, and worse, no complementary bar service!
However, the plane was spacious, comfortable, with ample leg room, the air staff impeccibly courteous and in muted green uniform that did not require sunglasses to face!
The flight was on time and landed *shock* quite close to the terminal so that it didnt take 20 min to walk to arrivals!

The booking process is easy to follow, with cheaper alternatives clearly displayed either side of the selected date so that you could find the best fare - and taxes and charges were clearly displayed so you had some idea what the actual fare was rather than finding it buried under a heap of added charges at the end!

Cons As it had cost me a bit more than i was used to paying, I was disappointed to have to pay for a cup of tea. This is contrary of me as I do understand the need of airlines to be ruthlessly competitive, but there it is.
