    Pros: I sent of the claim form provided by SHOPS and within less than a week they reimbersed the full amount of £428.95. So you can definately get your mony back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pros: i did recieve my tv but lost another payment

    Cons: As you are all aware this company went into administration on the 23rd december. I ordered a 42' plasma from this company which i did recieve on 14 novemeber and they took the payment out the same day. on the 16 december the company took another payment of £428.95. i noticed this when my bank statement arrived. i tried contacting the company but had a constant engaged tone. i then informed my bank and the police and trading standards and company house and they gave me all the details of the administration company dealing with it. now consumer direct has taken the matter on and have been told to contact S.H.O.P.S to try and claim some money back. i dont intented on leaving this matter until i have recieved money back

    Pros: Nothing Positive!

    Cons: Yesterday i got a call from S.H.O.P.S who told me that global sourcing technologies have gone into administration and that nobody will be receiving their TV's! You should be able to claim your money back through your bank or credit card provider or through S.H.O.P.S. Unfortunately not all newspapers are protected by S.H.O.P.S but the ones that are are listed on their website @ http://www.shops-uk.org.uk/papers.asp.

You should be able to claim your money back through your bank or credit card provider or through S.H.O.P.S.     Cons: Like many of you I have been struggling with this company for weeks, they "appeared" genuine,and they were always polite and friendly, IF you could get hold of them.I have had 3 X payments taken,1st on 25thNov £358.95,then they said no 37 's left so for £35 could upgrade,they reversed that figure and took £53 8th Dec, and then took another £359.95 16th December, please dont tell me that all these 2nd and 3rd payments were admin mistakes,there are too many of us that have had this so called "error".
    After speaking with Melanie Hubble from the "Sun" she tells me that they met all the "criteria" to advertise, and in fact paid to join SHOPS !!!! so makes you wonder where it all went wrong, OR was it a "Masterplan" from start to finish, dont suppose we will ever know.
    Good luck to you all in getting your re-imbursements,now my battle commences to get my £790.90 back.

    Pros: absolutely zero

    Cons: This company has gone into liquidation. Their website seems to have been taken down and no telephone number is working. I think SHOPS and credit card companies may be the only way of finding a resolution now. If you are still waiting for a TV this will not be good news but you will need to act now to recover your losses

    Pros: god advertisment which offered tvs at a good price.

    Cons: Stay well clear of this company. Ordered my 32' tv on the 14th November and they took 2 payments out of me. I managed to get 1 payment back on the 26th November, but i am still waiting for my tv. The last time that i managed to get through to them i was told my tv would arrive no later than friday 19th december, but six weeks on and still no tv. My bank is trying to claim the money back for non receivement of goods as i paid by visa debit card, but shall have to wait and see. Failling that i have contacted S.H.O.P.S. which told me if my bank have no joy they will claim it back for me.

    Pros: None

    Cons: I ordered a 32" TV mid November & have still not received it. I have been trying to telephone the company over the past week & you get a constantly engaged tone. Upon checking this website it is quite obvious that no television is on its way. I have contacted S.H.O.P.S on 01628 641930 who have confirmed that they have not had contact with this company since before Christmas. I would encourage anyone who has placed an order with this company & lucky enough to have paid via a credit card to immediately contact their Bank for a refund. I also intend to report to the Trading standards.

    Pros: I spoke to the Safe Home Ordering Protection Scheme and they said that they are investigating into Global Sourcing Technologies and that you can get your money back through S.H.O.P.S.

    Dont deal with this Company

    Pros: No pros about this Company

    Cons: Like many others - money went out off my bank twice. Unable to get them on number quoted on their invoice but did manage to get them one by the number given in a review. They were apologetic and promised tv by Monday before Christmas and of course it never came. Fortunately my bank are getting my money back as paid by Visa so have bought another one now as needed one for Christmas. Not nice for customers who have paid for TV and cannot get their money back. Hope the company do not get away with treating customers like they are.

    Pros: I saw their ad in the metro under the brand techniks.

    Cons: I payed for a 42inch plasma more than a month ago and did not recive it within the 14 days they said it would be delivered, so i cancelled my order. They said the money would be in my account within 48-72 hours and this was on the 05/12/08. two weeks have now passed and still havn't recieved my money back and all their numbers are unavilable. I called 01908 692816 and i spoke to someone who said the money would be in my account by 5.30pm. No sign of the money. If i do not get any results i am going to go down to their address. Is this business legit? Are they still trading?

    Pros: When I placed my order the order team were helpfull and friendly.

    Cons: Order was placed 19th November money taken off credit card 20th November. After about 2 weeks I called for an approx delivery date was told it was being delivered the following week, at this point I was really pleased however no tv came, tied to contact the customer service the number had been cut off. At this point I was concerned so I contacted Trading Standards and the News of the World as this is where I had seen the ad for this company they gave me 01908 692816 and told me that it is a legitimat company. I did get through on that number and was told once again that they had had an overwhelming response and orders were taking upto 28 days. I called them back on wednesday this week spoke to Clarke who told me I was scheduled for deliver on friday between 8 and 12, its now 4pm and no show, have tried all the numbers I have carnt get through. Ive even called the newspaper again and they said they have spoken to GST and they have assured them that any orders placed before the 20th November will be delivered by Xmas Eve, I am presuming they mean Xmas Eve 2008.       Hi everyone im in the same boat as you all and im getting that sinking feeling.. no pun intended.I called trading standards and asked about my position and were i stood? They were very helpfull as long as i payed by credit card my money is protected, But thats no concilation a month on and three delivery dates come and gone still no tvs. Trading standards gave me a ref number and recorded my concerns they took the name of the company in question and sugested others do the same, Iam going to get intouch

    Pros: Ordered a 37 inch lcd TV weeks back. I got call about 3 weeks later saying they were out of stock but I could have 42 inch at half the difference ie £35. They said I would have it before Xmas. Full amount has been taken out of my account. Up to this point I was still happy.

    Cons: Nearly 8 weeks has elapsed and I still have not got TV. I now cannot make any contact with them on phone. I contacted Dan who said they are reputable and my money is protected.
    Anyone have similar problems or solutions?

    Pros: When I contacted this company for the purpose of buying a Television the operator service was good although a promise to call me back with added informtion did not materialise. I was told that my order would be dispatched within 14 days.

    Cons: After 28 days my order had still not arrrived. I contacted Global Sourcing Technolgies' customer service department manager. I was told by him that my order would be deliverd the following day (Friday 5th December 2008) or Monday 8th December. Both dates came and went with no result. I contacted their customer order line on Wednesday 10thand was told that they were still taking new orders and were very keen to do so. I was told that if I placed an order at that moment in time, it would be delivered before christmas. That established I declined their offer and subsequently attempted to contact their customer service line again. Unfortunately !!!!!???? this line was out of order and unobtainable. Guess what? at the time of writing this review, the line is still unobtainable. The following day I attempted to contact their order line. Guess what? Line is busy and has been ever since, even at 2.30am in the morning. Have you had a problem with this company. Is it still solvent? I await with baited breath.

      hi eric my name id dan from plymouth, i like you also purchased a tv for my gf for x-mas on the 14 december . i have had alot of hassle so far. firstly they took the money from my account twice, and as a result i got bank charges to cut a long story short they put the cash back in and 2wks later paid the charges, but still no tv and like you i cannot get hold of anyone on 3 different numbers. anyways i contacted the sun newspaper where i came across the add and it turns out they have had problems with a call centre they are cosher! and our money is protected. if you would like to contact me id be happy to talk more 07890008643

      hi all, just to let you know i got hold of a guy called ashley plaxton yesterday at global using the number paul supplied. he was very appologetic for all the problems and has assured me my delivery will arrive on friday! so fingers crossed everyone! ill keep you posted . good luck

      Having not rrceived a promised call last night or this morning informing me of delivery time I rang company at 12 noon. I was assured most definately that it would arrive this afternoon and delivery could be up till 8pm.
      It is now 4pm and still no sign of it..
      Integtrety could be in doubt here.
      However I`ll wait until 8 to be sure.

      We too were promised delivery for friday but surprise surprise no tv has arrived yet, This is the third delivery date we have been given. Have tried to contact them but no luck there either.....Will keep you all posted.

      I was speaking to call handling service today( not global directly) and I was informed that some customers have received their TV but not what they ordered. Could be a glimmer of hope or just another way for them to make money.
      Anyhow I have contacted my credit card people who are making enquiries.

      I spoke to trading standards and they told me that if the goods have not been delivered within 30 days of ordering you have the right to a full refund. I told them that there is no way of getting in contact them, then they told me my bank can reclaim my money through a charge back scheme. So if you have you have waited at least 30 day i suggest you ask your bank about this service. Unfortunately becaused i cancelled my order and GST agreed to refund my money, my bank cannot make them refund my money.

      Bad news i`m afraid, I have been trying to get info out of this so called company for 4 weeks now regarding my parents tv, I got in contact with the sun newspaper to try and find out some info for me as i was getting very worried. Well today my parents recieved a call from a lady dealing with this complaint ( from the sun )and low and behold the company went into recievership on the 23rd of december 2008. Looks like they just decided to try and milk unsuspecting customers out of some money before they went under, This must be one of the most disgusting companys we have ever dealt with. Even when they must have known they were going under they had the brass neck to offer a larger tv for an extra 35 quid which my parents duly obliged. I hope the person responsible has sleepless nights fopr the rest of there lifes. Sorry for being the bringer of bad news
