The website design is very user friendly and is easy to search for anything on the website. You can book from the website anything available and save a bit of cash.
I was looking to book a day out at Chester Zoo on the website and found it easy, I was given the tickets available they had I could book, So I made my booking and saved about 10 pounds in entrance fee because I booked from the website.
I had to sign up to book from the website you have to give your email address and also give your details which also includes your bank details as well, Once booking is confirmed an email receipt was sent to me which I had to take in to the zoo.
Any one who is looking to book hotels or any other places have a look here as you can save time by booking online and also money from this website.
The Last Minute.com website gives you the chance to book at the last minute or book earlier if you want really its not all about the last minute really. Lastminute.com as you can tell by name also gives you a chance to solve your last minute problems. Can't find a Hotel somewhere? Cant find a ticket abroad its always worth checking on here as you can find stunning deals often.
Pros: Once you've created your login details you can book so many things, this is a great site, with what feels like an endless supply of flights, hotels, holidays and experiences. I have booked overall holidays and flights through the site and found it really useful as it provides price comparisons as well as providing costs over different days.
The website is really nicely designed has lists of the top 10s for various things, has holidays and has branched out into theatre tickets and restaurant bookings. There are always special offers on and it is generally one of the cheapest options for web purchases of holidays.
Overall its a great brand, which i've found to be really reliable and great value in many experiences with it.
Pros: I recently used this site to purchase tickets for Thorpe Park. It was the day before me and my friends were to go and I didnt have an annual pass. Buying tickets at the gate costs a lot of money so a friend recommended lastminute.com. I purchased the tickets at a great price and they were well worth the money. They send you a conformation email right away so you have peace of mind. Their website is very easy to navigate and everything is easy to find. Their service is prompt and everything worked out very well I would definitely recommend them to others.
Pros: I have used this website to book a day out in Alton Towers, What I had to do on the website was simply sign up first of all. To sign up on the website you need to give your details to the site and also give your email address and set up a password as well on the website once you have done these fields on the website you can start booking on the website.
I booked my Alton Towers tickets on the website.I had to pay by card once I had paid, An email was sent out to confirm my booking and I had to take the email in to pick up my tickets at Alton Towers. When I got to Alton Towers I showed my email and I was given my tickets I noticed I saved 10 pounds by booking online through this website.
Pros: Last Minute.com is a website which can save people money when it comes to booking hotels and days out as well.
On the website you can book out days to places abroad by booking tickets online and finding out whats available. You can book tickets to Alton Towers,Blackpool Zoo and the Lake District and much more. The prices on this website are much cheaper than the actual attraction places them selves and can save you a bit of money and can also save you time as well.
The website is well designed and is easy to navigate on, If you go through a cashback website you will earn a small amount for using the website to book. I decided to book my Alton Towers tickets online I managed to pay 15 pound less than I would have at the theme park.
To book online I had to register an account once I had done that, I had to pay via card and once I did that I was sent an email to confirm my booking, You have to keep the email for proof of booking, I took the email letter with me to Alton Towers and everything went fine.
Any one who does go out a lot across the UK or wants to save time LastMinute.com can save you money and time.
Pros: To use the website for booking you need to make an account with the site, You will need to give your name, address, post code and also your email address will be needed as well. If you want to book any place on the site you need to pay by card and once you pay an email will be sent to confirm your order as well.
Prices for theme parks are cheap on the site if you are planning to go to Alton Towers Or Blackpool Pleasure Beach by booking your tickets on the website you will save your self money at the most 6 pounds as the site is much cheaper to book on.
Not only is the website good for lastminute booking but its good to save you money as well. Most places such as Alton Towers have a higher ticket price when you go to theme park it self but if you book online through the website you are given an confirmation email along with an reference number to take in inside, this way you are saving money and enjoying going out to places.
Cons: No cons at all for this website just save some money and book at the last minute!
Pros: I love the idea of LastMinute.com and on occasion I have used it for inspiration for places to go- I have then used other website to find a much better deal.
Cons: My main problem with LastMinute is that it doesn't really do what it's supposed to do- I have yet to find a good last minute deal- most offers need to be booked more than a week or two in advance particularly the offers where last minute is in partnership with a venue such as many of their spa breaks which need to be booked a minimum of 3 weeks beforehand- not very last minute when you can phone the spa right up to the day you want to visit and get a far lower price.
I booked a hyrdo-zorbing day for my partner for Christmas last year and was horrified when it arrived- I was expecting a nice presentation
(perhaps in a box or a tin..) with maybe a leaflet about hydro-zorbing and I certainly expected at the very very least to have recieved a voucher. It was sold as a "gift experience" after all and it was 2 weeks before Christmas. So when I recieved a crappy piece of paper containing the booking details and what is best described as a coupon- a shabby slip of paper saying "go to this website and type this code" with no effort to show that this was a gift; honestly to look at it you could easily have mistaken it for one of those subscription free-bee offers that fall out of magazines. It certainly didn't look like something I had paid money for and I was horribly embarrassed to pass it on as a gift.
To top it off the voucher is valid for 10 months, my partners very hectic work schedule means that he has yet to redeem the voucher- and has one week left to do so which seeing as he's currently rehearsing for the tour of his international car show I doubt he will get the time! (incedently they also sell tickets to this car show...)
If you want a geniune last minute deal on a hotel or hotel spa then I recommend trying bookings.com or laterooms.com I have used them before and found amazing deals which are frequently updated to reflect the most recent best deal and you can book right up until they day you plan to arrive.
Pros: I've used Lastminute to book restaurants and theatre tickets, and got good deals on both. It's worth a look if you have time to spare (Waste?) and want to compare deals.
Meals can be especially good deals if you really book last minute and dont mind leaving things to chance!
The website is well designed and uncluttered, easy to navigate and pleasing on the eye.
Cons: It may just be bad luck on my part but I've never found a flight or holiday cheaper on here than elsewhere, but have heard of bargain packages to be had. I have a feeling this was more so some years back but this is just an impression. It may be that others have jumped on the bandwagon since and this company stands out less?
Pros: I've used lastminute.com quite a few times now. Prices seem to vary - sometimes they are the cheapest, and then other times they are more expensive that everywhere else. I guess they get bulk purchases on certain things and sell them cheaply.
I would give them a particular thumbs up for one experience I had. We had difficulties getting onto a return flight from Prague - we nearly were not allowed on. It was due to a problem with the airline as it turned out, but when we got home we wrote to both lastminute (who we booked through) and the airline. Even though it was not their fault, lastminute wrote back to apologise and give a £50 refund which I thought very decent of them (especially as the airline declined all responsibility).
Never had an issues booking either flights or hotels through here, and I will continue to use and recommend them.
Pros: You usually dont need to go much further than lastminute.com to find the best prices for amongst multiple airlines for your flight or book your holiday. The flexible dates feature makes searching less time consuming and the checkout process is quick as well as email confirmation. They are well up to date on seat availablity with the airline companys. They include a good range of major airlines. Search results come back relatively quickly as well.
Pros: Good service and worth while rooting around their web site if you are after a last minute cheap deal for a holiday. In fact it is also worth looking at if you’re trying to organise anything to do with a holiday, weekend break or business trips etc.
Hotels, flights and car hire can all be arranged at reasonable costs and what’s more, they can be arranged and booked 24 hours a day.
Costs can vary depending on what you are trying to book, where it is and when. But in general they are cheapish.
Cons: Nothing
