A favourite for all! (Recommended)

Pros This bar has been my local, my stalwart provider of good wine in hours of need, last minute dinner location, birthday party venue, birthday present provider (I've taken friends there for tastings) and virtual second home for as long as it's been open.

The staff are always welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The wine is outstanding and the guys really know their stuff and can help you choose something to either take back to your table or back to your sofa at home. What I really like about eating and drinking there is the flexibility of being able to wander into the shop next door before dinner arrives and choose exactly what you fancy, with no squinting at a wine list and no doubt at all that whatever you choose has already been carefully chosen to be there already.

If I didn't love it I wouldn't keep going back. Simple and brilliant.

Cons A bit too small... Over than that none!

Didn't make me blue (Recommended)

Pros It is a nice place to eat and drink, with good wines that are reasonably priced (and they offer take away wine). They have regular offers on wine (such as all bottles over £10 drink in at take home prices), and champagne Fridays.

The food I had was great – a pate platter and lots of cheese. Now I can eat cheese and this was too much even for me.

Cons The problem with this place is the space – there just isn’t much of it and no matter how quiet or busy it is you fell like you’re in a coffee shop rather than a bar. No-one ever stands in there, it just doesn’t feel right. I'm not really sure what they can do about it.
