Good for special offers on books (Recommended)

Pros I agree with the last reviewer, WHSmiths is the best shop for magazines in Middlesbrough, especially if you are into speciality topics. Its the only store in town that sells my fav /fortean times/ as well as every scifi/cult/film magazine avalible in the uk. It covers all the usual womens gossip mags, health mags, mens mags and comics. Additionaly it has werird stuff like /crossstich weekly/ and /horse and hound/.

The range of books on sale isn't great, it has more than a supermarket and less than a dedicated book shop like waterstones, and carrys mostly main stream titles. However it is on special offers that smiths really shines nearly evry week they will be a buy 1 get 1 free, 3 for 2, or wook of the week for 2.99 (usual a Richard and Judy bookclub one).

If you go downstairs you will fing a nice little post office.

Cons Whilst the mag section is fantastic, the CD, DVD and Book sections are rather limited and are usua;;y beaten on price (excluding special offers ) elsewhere.

The DVD/CD section has recently halved in size to make way for a postoffice

Great for magazines! (Recommended)

Pros I'm a big fan of magazines, but not the ordinary everyday ones that you can buy just anywhere. No, I have to be awkward! I like the more unusual ones, and you just can't get those in small newsagents, or even some medium sized branches of WH Smith (the Stockton town centre branch and the Teesside Park branch, for example). This branch, however, is brilliant! They have loads of magazines for me to choose from - including plenty of the less readily available ones that I love. The shop is in the middle of Middlesbrough town centre, in a large indoor shopping mall near Boots. Very convenient to get to if you're on a shopping trip round Middlesbrough. The shop is split over two floors and has a brilliant selection of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, etc. Well worth a visit.

Cons None given.
