Darlington Building Society (Recommended)

Pros This is a medium sized branch of the Darlington Building Society, located at the far end of Stockton High Street, it's actually set back a bit from the High Street, on a separate road, but is quite close to the church, so it's easy enough to find. It isn't my regular branch, but I do go there from time to time if I happen to be in Stockton and need to get some cash out! I have always found the staff friendly and helpful and have never had problems withdrawing cash, even though it isn't my usual branch, and the staff don't know me there.

Cons The main problem with this branch is the location. It probably won't be a problem for a lot of people - but when I go to Stockton I tend to park in the Castlegate car park, and rarely venture further up the High Street than Marks and Spencer's. This branch of Darlington Building Society is further up than even that, and for me there are no other shops worth bothering with up there so it's a bit of a drag having to walk that far just for one place. Not at all a complaint about the Building Society or the service, though - very happy with the branch staff!
