  Waterstones in Northallerton is a great book store - it's quite simply, one of the best in the area, by far. It's easy to find whichever section you're looking for, and i'm always impressed with the range of books in this store. Lots of good offers inside the store which change on a regular basis, you don't feel pressured to buy anything, and you can take as long as you want to look around. Very impressive book store - you will not be disappointed!

  Pros: Located on the High Street in Northallerton, this is a really nice little shop. I love Waterstones anyway because they always have such a wide selection of books to choose from - often much better than you can get in other chains of book stores. This is a really nice branch to shop in, too. It’s brightly-lit and very well laid out, a real pleasure to browse around. The shop is split over two floors, and has a really nice children’s book section at the back of the ground floor. Also, I always find the staff in Waterstones seem particularly knowledgeable and they are always helpful and friendly, too. Definitely one of the better book stores around and well worth a visit even if you are not looking for anything in particular - you’re sure to find something that will interest you.
