    Great oasis on Thames

    Mar 19, 2010

I don't know why they call it a London Hotel, it is a top class resort on the Thames. Very classy and beautifully designed.

I felt I was in London but away from it at the same time, a rare feeling for me, great place to make your work and holiday go in tandem.Clapham common took me to heart of London in 20 minutes.

    Will return.............................

Hotel Rafayel - Ignorant of its own Beauty

    Dec 25, 2009

I stayed at Hotel Rafayel for two days and really loved the Hotel; I've already booked my stay again. Hotel Rafayel is one of those understated jewels, which lives in blissful ignorance of its treasure. Such a find is very difficult in this day and age but I couldn't recommend the Hotel any stronger.

What I enjoyed about staying in this hotel is the underlying narrative behind it; a way to strike the balance between enjoying modern comforts but at the same time have a respect for the natural and local environment.

Hotel Rafayel has that warm affable quality and that personalised service in the classic style. Its staff are attentive and very responsive whereas the size and view of the room I stayed in, was just spectacular. The value for money proposition was very very key and I would end the night at the Banyan, where I would take in the view of Chelsea Harbour.
