    scam

    Dec 22, 2008

Cons: the only cons is that they con you. I was called to apply for a loan and also sold an insurance policy but explained that at the time I would not be able to pay the 49.95 fee until 19/12/2008 - I did not receive anything in writing to confirm who these people were and have not signed anything but two amounts of £50.44 and £79.10 was taken from my credit card on 20/12/2008 without any further communication from them. I did not receive my payslip until late friday 19th of which I had two weeks sick pay deducted. Before I could contact Advantage loans Post Net Limited took these two payments and will not refund them until I write in to request this. I cannot see why if I have not had anything in writing they can take my money but I have to write in for a refund that could take weeks. It is christmas and I need this money refunded.

Do not go with these scam and thieves I warn you. I have made a formal complaint to the office of fair trading.

Another one that has been a victim of these shysters.

I noticed a transaction on my account the other day to a company called Post Net Ltd ? id never heard of them never mind given them my bank account details.

£62.xx pence had been debited from my account without my consent either written or verbal, this company cant be allowed to do this its sheer robbery ! I have reported this to my bank and am going through the process of getting my money back via my banks fraud dept and im also reporting this to the police as theft or fraud whichever.

Steer well clear of this company or / and their associates

Getting straight to the point, I have paid Post Net LTD the sum of £50.94 as they told me they would be sending me paperwork for a loan I had aplied for.

3-4 weeks later I still haven't received anything from them, after reading through these reviews of that so called company (they should be called a CONPANY instead) I will be requesting my money back and if they refuse I'll get my bank to claim it back for me.

    • Ryan Warburton 28-04-2009

I have noticed £42.97 has gone missing out of my bank account, post net ltd has shown up on my bank statement, i have never even heard of them, let alone given them my permission to take any money from me. I am absolutely fuming, i am a disabled man with 2 young children to support and a rapidly approaching wedding to pay for, the money which they have taken is much needed. I will be doing everything i can to get my money back. The conning bastards

    CON!!

    Feb 27, 2009

Cons: This company preys on vulnerable people who are in need of a loan, all they do is rip you off and take money which they DO NOT have permission to take. I agreed for a one off payment of £49.95 to be taken via my debit card. After noticing strange transactions on my account it came to my attention that post net ltd had been taking a further £15.50 every month off the card which I had used to make the ONE OFF payment. When I went into the bank to cancel my card, they told me they had, had several people with the same problem. Clearly this company is a con and should be avoided by everyone!!! I have written to the company to request a full refund of all the money taken from my account and am awaiting a response, will post on here if one comes through.

Hi Kate. I work for Payment Guard, an income protection provider and also a sister company of the brokerage service you have paid for. First of all, I am sorry to hear you have not been satisfied with the service you have received.

I believe that the regular payment of £15.50 that you refer to would be the insurance policy that you may have taken out at the time of applying for the brokerage product. Please note that this is completely optional and not a condition of taking out any loan as would have been explained with the strict scripts all of our agents have in place. In no circumstance would any money be taken from your account without your full authorisation. Therefore I would like to take care of this personally for you. Unfortunately, I cannot find any 'Kate French' in our system. If you could provide me with your details, I would be more than happy to investigate this as a matter of priority. If you prefer, you can email me direct at Kelly.Barlow@rgroup.co.uk. Many thanks, Kelly Barlow.

Kelly has been very helpful and worked very quickly to resolve the problem. I emailed Kelly directly and found her very friendly and helpful from the start. I hope other people have as much assistance as I had when trying to claim their money back also. Thankyou to Kelly for resolving this problem as quickly as she did. Will post again when refunds are showing in account.

    complete scam!

    Oct 15, 2008

Cons: please please please do not have any dealings with this company. after telling me that all i had to do was pay £49.95 for them to find me a 'loan' they were unable to find me one and when i asked for a refund which they state they will give if they were unable to help they said they do not give refunds. after finding suspicious things on my bank statements i have discovered that they have been taking a further £41.31 each month. they were NEVER given permission by me to take any more money out of my account and when i tried to contact them they did not respond to my letters. i have contacted my bank and they told me that the card i paid the £49.95 on has been used each month by the same company so they obviously have my personal details stored. please if you need a loan then take the time to search for one yourself as this company is nothing but a scam. i have lost over £200 and have been told i can only stop my cards and open a different account.
    thanks for reading.

Good morning. I work for Post Net Ltd and am very disturbed to see these comments. There are two things that you have highlighted here Kayleigh that I need to quickly address. Firstly, our telephone scripts do not allow operators to tell anyone that they cant have a refund, we have a very simple procedure, if you are dissatisfied with the service you have received we ask you to write in to confirm this. Once this has been received we will then refund the fee you paid to us minus a £5 statutory brokerage fee that covers any work already carried out. If you have been told you cannot have a refund, please supply me with the details, as I need to investigate your case and get your fee refunded. All I would need is your postcode.
In regards to the regular £41.31 coming out of your account, we do not charge a regular fee for loan brokerage. The only regular charge that I know of is if a customer has signed up separately for an insurance policy. This policy would have been sold on a separate phone call, which would have been completely un-related to you brokerage service. If you had signed up to insurance you would receive documents from your insurer, which would of, laid out your cancellation rights in full. If you would like me to try and contact them and look into this for you please let me know. I’ll watch this forum for further information. Please dont worry or feel you have lost out Kayleigh; I will get this sorted for you. Jon Newman.
