The purpose of BView is to provide, via our Site, an interactive community of businesses and their customers (or 'Community'), in order to improve the way that our Community's members do business.
We aim to make as much information about UK businesses available to you as possible, at no cost. To do this, we trade the information you provide us about businesses for regular updates of information on UK businesses from carefully selected data partners (or 'Partners'). We work hard to tap the best sources for reliable information on UK businesses, so that you can make the best decisions possible. We will always make our sources transparent when information comes from one of our Partners.
You can find, add, promote and share information about businesses that are owned and/or managed by you, or about businesses and people you have dealings with. This information will be posted publicly on the Site. You can also network with other people within the Community. We do not remove businesses or information about businesses from our Site unless we believe that a business is no longer trading or the information contravenes these Terms or our Privacy policy.
If you own or manage a business, you will always have the chance to publicly respond to anything we report about your business.
Whilst most of our services are free of charge, our business users may take advantage of additional services through the Site, such as enhanced business profiles and advertising services (or 'Enhanced Services'), for a fee.
We believe that the internet is the most powerful way to share information and to cooperate with others. So we rely upon you, and all members of our Community, to tell us the truth. We do not try to determine whether or not the data, images, text, video and audio published on our Site (or 'Content') is accurate. It is up to you to judge our Content for yourself. By using the Site, you accept that any reliance on Content found on this Site is undertaken at your own risk.
We do not actively manage, monitor or edit Content. Instead, we rely upon Community members to report inappropriate Content. If you believe that a particular piece of Content is inappropriate, please let us know so that we can review it. We will not remove Content unless, at our sole discretion, we believe that the Content is breaching these Terms.
Content is solely the responsibility of the creator or supplier of the Content. BView is not responsible for user-generated Content, rather BView merely provides access to Content as a service to you. We expect you to use the information provided on the Site in a cautious, lawful and common-sense manner.
We do not offer opinions about other businesses nor do we sanction any views expressed on our Site. That's your job. BView simply provides a forum for your voice and for showcasing the opinions of others.
You agree that you are responsible for all your actions on this Site and for any consequence of such actions.
We believe that truthful reporting facilitates good businesses and that truthful representations are important to the health of our Community. You agree to use the Site only to post and/or add materials that are: legal, proper, decent, honest, complete, true and accurate and in compliance with all relevant codes.

To participate in the Community, you must provide certain information about yourself when you fill out the registration form. You agree to provide the Community with information that is complete, true, accurate and current. If any information that you provide is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, BView retains the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account and rights to use the services.

Except as otherwise stated in these Terms or under our Privacy policy, any material, information or other communication that you transmit or post to this Site will be considered non-confidential.
All Content on the Site is the property of BView and/or its licensors and is subject to copyright. All trademarks on the Site are the property of BView and/or its licensors.
You are entitled to view, copy and print any Content from the Site but only for your own internal business use. Any sale, transmission or redistribution of the Site or its Content, and any copying, modification or other use of the Site or its Content for any purposes other than your own internal business purposes, is strictly prohibited.
All content (including but not limited to all data, images, sounds, text, and other things embodied in such content) that you create and post on the Site (including information about yourself) is your property and you grant BView a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, worldwide licence to:

The Site contains links to external websites. The sites accessed by these links are not provided by or maintained by us. We do not have any control over these external sites. You therefore acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with, use of or reliance on any information, goods or services available on or through any such site. If you decide to access any of the third-party sites linked to this Site, you do this entirely at your own risk.

Whilst we use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the Site, errors may occur. Your access to and use of the software and Content is entirely at your own risk and access is provided 'as is' and on an 'as available' basis only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law we accept no liability for the Content and all implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy are excluded from these Terms. We cannot give any warranty or representation as to the accuracy of the information and do not accept responsibility for errors or omissions or for any action or decisions based on the information. We do not warrant that the Site will be available uninterrupted or error free or that any defects will be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a party's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or our fraudulent misrepresentation.

We verify all business-control requests in order to continue to provide a high quality service for all members (or 'Business Verification'). To perform this Business Verification we need to take your credit/debit card and address details or phone contact details.
Where BView takes your credit card details for the verification process, we do not take a payment and only do so with your authorisation, if any. We use 128-bit encryption, as well as SSL certificates, wherever we do this, in order to protect your personal information. However, we are not responsible for misuse of your personal information if it has been provided to us as a result of your negligence, inaction or fraud.
By using the Site you acknowledge that these two methods of verification of identities are not conclusive, and accordingly that some businesses will be controlled on the Site by an individual that is not associated with that business. We recommend that you carry out your own investigations to establish the identity of a business.
Without limiting the foregoing, BView does not make any warranty that:

This Site is created and controlled by BView in the United Kingdom and the laws of England and Wales govern these Terms. You and BView agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Any waiver of any right or provision of these Terms will be effective only if signed by BView and the failure of BView to exercise or enforce any term or condition shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavour to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
BView reserves the right to make changes to this Site and to these Terms at any time.
BView reserves the right to refuse to list or to discontinue the listing of any services as it may choose in its sole discretion and without notice. Without limiting the generality of its right to exclude or discontinue the listing of services, BView may, at its sole discretion, exclude services from the Site if they are believed not to meet applicable industry standards or if BView receives complaints from users of the Site regarding listed services.
The rights and limitations in these Terms are for the benefit of BView and a person who is not a party to this agreement has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms.
You are not permitted to assign any of your rights under these Terms without the prior written consent of BView.
You and BView are independent contractors, and no agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship between You and BView is intended or created by these Terms.
These Terms and our Privacy policy contain all the terms of your agreement with us relating to the use of the Sites. No other written or oral statement will be incorporated.
